Papa picture disc |

Hi all!
I recently added my 12" picture disc of Papa whih has a black rim instead of the more usual clear rim. My quesion is, does anyone else have this? I have had it since first release and have never seen another one nor seen any reference on the net. I bought it from HMV in the UK at the time of release. It was in the middle of the pile of clear rim versions they had in stock and it was obviously different, so I bought both versions! Strangely though, the black rim one did not come in a stickered sleeve. I am starting to think that maybe it was a test press ? Despite being advised once that it is a bootleg, it isn't! Who'd want to bootleg such a common disc? No one!
So, does anyone else have this one?

Well, Great question.. I am not finish with the wanted list yet.
I still need do make just what you where asking here..
The possibility for others to see what data you wrote into you wanted.
Dealers would on this site be, only other members.
And when I'm finish, it is possible for others to see more than only
which records you have in you want list.
Now you can use MENU > MEMBERS > SHOW ALL MEMBERS
and see how many records each member has in collection and how many
each has in wanted list. Press on numbers and see the list.
Later you would be able to see info on each record from wanted.
Like what I would pay for an record, condition and so on. |

Does it have the same cover as the one from Mexico?
I can see that I miss information about the one your talking about?
Would you provide me with Track, Label number and other info on your record.
And who knows.. I have plenty of other dublets I could trade with.. |

WOW.thank u in advance..please in need your help..and there is anything i can do for you personaly or for this site i will!the offered me the picture disc of erotica reissue for 70 euro!Of course i didnt buy it!70 euro for a bootleg?i give only 40!i have to scan some of my covers and upload them here to help this site..its the best in net!i think it needs some changes only..

Also i saw on ebay that the auctioned the RE-ISSUE of the picture disc of erotica single.Does anybody could help me to buy it!Those people are crazy on ebay..Its just a bootleg re issue..I can help you with greek items or even greek magazines..

Well the record will of course not be as much worth as if it was sealed.
But if its rare like you say, then it could have a high street price anyway.
If you collect records and does not have this one in your collection, then it would
be more worth to you than others, and in my case I would buy it, at least to a better
copy shows up. Some rare records is almost impossible to find in mint condition.
Factory defect sometimes makes the price even higher for a record. |

Hi there,
I am thinking about purchasing a rare record (no specifics so someone doesn't think about buying it first... ...!) and the sleeve condition is described as having stains and rips and such, but the record is great. The record even has a factory defect in the dying process leaving some of the original dye in a blotch on it, but not affecting play.
Is this record worth purchasing and will it still be valuable despite the sleeve condition? Or is it pretty much worthless?
Any advice would be wonderful, thanks! - D |
